Which is exactly why Lumière was formulated for it.
The skin on your face is finer and more delicate than anywhere else on the body, and it sits over far less fat and muscle. It needs a lighter, more considered formula rather than a heavier one.
Unevenness that would go unnoticed on a leg is obvious on a cheekbone. Lumière is built around even, gradual development so colour arrives without patchiness.
Your face takes daily light and weather while the rest of you stays covered. The formula pairs its melanin actives with barrier support so repeated sessions stay comfortable.
Your face is the one area that has to carry foundation, concealer and SPF on top of whatever you put on first, and it is looked at up close all day. That asks for a texture that absorbs in seconds and finishes luminous rather than dewy. Lumière was built to that brief.
Skincare-grade actives, chosen for facial skin.
A Vitex Agnus Castus derived active dosed at 0.5%, chosen to support the skin's own melanin pathway for colour that develops evenly across the face.
The melanin precursor at the core of every Delux formula, included here at 2% to feed the tanning process through each session.
A well known cosmetic peptide selected to help soften the appearance of fine expression lines, particularly across the forehead and around the eyes.
A 2% dose of one of skincare's most established ingredients, included to even the look of tone and support the barrier through repeated exposure.
Sodium Hyaluronate, chosen to draw moisture into the skin and keep the face feeling plump and comfortable rather than tight after a session.
A barrier lipid that helps reinforce the skin's own protective layer, keeping facial skin resilient when it is being exposed regularly.
Included to support the look of suppleness and smoothness, helping the finish stay soft rather than dry as colour builds.
Precision-dosed for facial skin.
The melanin precursor at the core of the Delux range, included at 2% to feed the tanning process.
A 2% dose to even the look of tone and support the skin barrier through repeated sessions.
A Vitex Agnus Castus derived active at 0.5%, the level it is validated at, working alongside the tyrosine to support melanin production.
How To Apply
Tap a zone on the face, or pick one below.
A pea-sized amount
Start here and sweep outwards towards the temples and hairline. This area catches the most direct light in a sunbed, so keep the coverage even.
A pea-sized amount per side
Work outwards from the nose along the cheekbone. This is where colour shows first and where patchiness is most visible, so blend thoroughly.
A light layer
The nose and the centre of the face sit closest to the lamps and tend to develop fastest. Use less here than elsewhere.
A pea-sized amount
Carry the cream down over the jawline and onto the neck so there is no line where the face stops. The most common mistake is stopping at the chin.
Keep clear
Do not apply to the eyelids or the skin immediately around the eyes, and avoid contact with the eyes themselves. If the product does get into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
The Routine
Face and body, same session. It is an and, not an or.
Apply to clean, dry skin. Remove makeup and SPF first so nothing sits between the formula and your skin.
Work it over the face, jawline and neck using the map above. Wash your hands afterwards.
Follow with your usual Delux cream from the neck down. The two are designed to be used in the same session.
Indoors or outdoors. Outdoors, apply a separate broad spectrum sunscreen over the top.

Yes, you can. Every Delux cream is safe to use on facial skin. Lumière is simply built for the job: a lighter texture that absorbs faster and sits cleanly under makeup, a much smaller amount per area, and skincare actives chosen for the face rather than the body. If you are using a body cream up there, use far less than you would on your arms and legs.
A warm, luxurious vanilla. It is deliberately soft and refined rather than sweet or overpowering, which matters more on a facial product than a body one because it sits right under your nose.
Yes. Apply to clean, dry skin and allow it to absorb fully first. The finish is light and non-greasy, so makeup sits over it normally.
There is no DHA and no self-tan in Lumière, so it will not develop colour on its own. It contains a light reflecting complex that gives an immediate luminous finish, while the melanin actives support colour that develops through your sessions.
No. When tanning outdoors, always apply a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen over the top to protect your skin.
Used across the face, jawline and neck at roughly a pea-sized amount per area, a tube covers a typical course of sessions comfortably.
