Signal and substrate. Monk's pepper extract primes melanocytes to respond to UV; acetyl tyrosine gives them the building block.

Alongside it. Hexapeptide-8 for expression lines, hyaluronic acid and ceramide NP for a barrier that copes with repeated sessions.

The skin on your face is finer and more delicate than anywhere else on the body, and it sits over far less fat and muscle. It needs a lighter, more considered formula rather than a heavier one.

Where it goes, and where it doesn't

Forehead
A pea-sized amount
Start here and sweep outwards towards the temples and hairline. This area catches the most direct light in a sunbed, so keep the coverage even.
Cheeks
A pea-sized amount per side
Work outwards from the nose along the cheekbone. This is where colour shows first and where patchiness is most visible, so blend thoroughly.
Nose and centre
A light layer
The nose and the centre of the face sit closest to the lamps and tend to develop fastest. Use less here than elsewhere.
Jaw and neck
A pea-sized amount
Carry the cream down over the jawline and onto the neck so there is no line where the face stops. The most common mistake is stopping at the chin.
Avoid the eye area
Keep clear
Do not apply to the eyelids or the skin immediately around the eyes, and avoid contact with the eyes themselves. If the product does get into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Start clean
Apply to clean, dry skin. Remove makeup and SPF first so nothing sits between the formula and your skin.

Can I just use my body accelerator on my face?
You can, and every Delux cream is safe on facial skin. Lumière is simply built for the job: a lighter texture that absorbs faster and sits under makeup, a much smaller amount per area, and skincare actives chosen for the face. If you use a body cream up there, use far less than you would on your legs.
Will it change my skin colour straight away?
There is no DHA and no self-tan in Lumière, so it does not develop colour on its own. The light-reflecting complex gives an immediate luminous finish; the melanin actives support colour that develops through your sessions.
Can I wear makeup over it?
Yes. Apply to clean, dry skin and let it absorb fully first. The finish is light and non-greasy, so makeup sits over it normally.
What does it smell like?
A warm, luxurious vanilla. Deliberately soft rather than sweet, which matters more on a facial product than a body one because it sits right under your nose.
Does it contain SPF?
No. The titanium dioxide on the label is a pigment for the finish, not a sunscreen. Outdoors, wear a separate broad-spectrum SPF over the top.
How long will a 50ml tube last?
At a pea-sized amount per area across the face, jawline and neck, a tube covers a typical course of sessions comfortably.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day. After 12pm your order goes out the next working day. We often dispatch on Saturdays too, but cannot promise it. UK delivery then takes 1 to 2 working days, and shipping is free on orders over £40.
