For: anyone who wants the full Next-Gen formula and a sweet bubblegum scent. The cream is pink; the tint is not, it will not stain or transfer.
Not for: anyone who wants instant colour with no UV. Nothing in this tube stains skin. The colour it helps build is your own.
What it is not: a self-tan, a bronzer, or a sunscreen. Outdoors, wear a separate SPF over it.
The hero ingredient
MelanoBronze.
The ingredient most brands skip.
A Swiss active from monk's pepper berries combined with acetyl tyrosine. It is one of the most expensive ingredients a tanning brand can buy, which is why you will struggle to find it on any other UK shelf.
One source. Made by a single biochemistry lab in Switzerland. No generic, no cheaper copy.
Signal and substrate. Monk's pepper extract primes melanocytes to respond to UV; acetyl tyrosine gives them the building block.
Used properly. At the level stated on this page, within the maker's recommended range, under licence from Solabia.

Five actives,

Your skin makes melanin in stages. Bubblegum Mania has one ingredient for each stage, and a skincare base of aloe, shea, squalane, ceramide and ectoin underneath so conditioned skin takes the colour evenly and holds it.
Stage 1: the building blockN-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine2%
The stable form of the amino acid your skin converts into melanin. Most accelerators list it at the bottom of the label. Here it sits above the emulsifiers.
Stage 2: the signalMelanoBronze (Vitex agnus-castus extract)2%
Primes melanocytes to respond sooner and more fully to the session you are having, and supplies more building block alongside it.
Stage 3: the enzymeCopper Gluconate0.5%
Tyrosinase, the enzyme that converts tyrosine into pigment, is copper-dependent. This supplies the mineral it needs.
Stage 4: reinforcing the signalAcetyl Hexapeptide-11%
A cosmetic peptide that mimics the hormone signal telling melanocytes to make pigment, so the response to UV is stronger and more even.
Stage 5: the transferNiacinamide
Supports the movement of finished pigment up to the surface where you can see it, and evens tone while it does.

How to use it
A 10p amount,
spread thin.
The actives absorb into the top layer of skin in minutes. That is where they work.
Prep. Exfoliate the day before. Apply to clean, dry skin.
Amount. A 10p-sized amount per area, spread thin until it disappears. More sits on the surface and does nothing extra.
Sunbed. Apply just before your session. Water-based, so it is kind to the acrylics.
Outdoors. Apply first, let it absorb, then your sunscreen over the top.
What to expect. A difference within two to three sessions, a proper base in two to three weeks, and colour that holds because the skin under it is conditioned.

How fast will I see results?
Most people notice deeper colour within two to three sessions when used every time. A proper base takes two to three weeks of regular use.
Why is the cream pink? Will it tint my skin?
The pink is the colour of the cream itself. There is no bronzer and no DHA, so it will not tint, transfer or streak. Your colour develops from your own melanin.
Why is it half price?
Bubblegum Mania is on clearance while we make room for new launches. Same formula, same tube, half the price while current stock lasts.
Is this the same formula as Island Coconut?
Yes. Same Next-Gen formula, same actives at the same levels. The only difference is the scent.
Does it contain SPF?
No. Outdoors, apply the cream first, let it absorb, then wear a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen over the top.
Can I use it on sunbeds and outdoors?
Yes. It is water-based, kind to acrylics, and works with any UV source.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day. After 12pm your order goes out the next working day. We often dispatch on Saturdays too, but cannot promise it. UK delivery then takes 1 to 2 working days, and shipping is free on orders over £40.
