Not a cream.
A jelly.
Sun Sauce carries our highest levels of acetyl tyrosine and niacinamide in a water-based jelly with no oil phase. It is the lightest thing in the range and the most concentrated.
The hero ingredient
Acetyl tyrosine.
Twice the level.
The amino acid your skin converts into melanin, at the highest level in the Delux range. Most accelerators list it below the fragrance. In Sun Sauce it is near the top of the label.
Inside the formula
Nineteen ingredients,
no oil.
A water-based jelly with the melanin building block and the transfer support turned up, and the hydration done with water-loving ingredients instead of butters. One colourant, disclosed below.
The building blockAcetyl Tyrosine4%
The stable form of the amino acid your skin converts into melanin, at double the level in our creams.
The transferNiacinamide4%
Supports the movement of finished pigment up to the surface, evens tone, and helps the barrier through repeated sessions.
HydrationPanthenol1.2%
Pro-vitamin B5. Draws and holds water in the top layer of skin so the jelly leaves skin comfortable, not tight.
HydrationBetaine, Aloe Vera, Allantoin
Three water-phase conditioners that do the job the oils do in a cream, without the oil.
Skin comfortAdenosine, Grape Fruit Extract
Adenosine for smoother-looking skin after a session; grape extract for its antioxidants.

How to use it
A 5p amount,
spread thin.
The jelly is concentrated. A thin layer is the whole technique.
Against the shelf
Where the tyrosine
sits on the label.
Ingredients are listed in order of amount. Find the tyrosine on any tube and see what it is above.
A typical sunbed accelerator
18th
Listed near the preservatives. There is a trace of it, and the colour you see is mostly the bronzer.
Sun Sauce
5th
Fifth on the label, after water, glycerin and niacinamide. Nothing fake in front of it.
Prefer a cream?
The wider stack,
in a rich cream.
The Next-Gen creams carry five melanin actives, including MelanoBronze, on a skincare base of butters and ceramide.
Quick answers
Questions,
answered.
How fast will I see results?
Most people notice deeper colour within two to three sessions when used every time. A proper base takes two to three weeks of regular use.
Why does it feel sticky?
Too much product. There is no oil in a jelly to carry the excess, so anything beyond a thin layer sits on the surface. A 5p-sized amount per area, spread thin, absorbs in a minute or two.
Is it stronger than the creams?
It carries double the acetyl tyrosine and niacinamide, but it does not carry MelanoBronze, copper or the peptide. The creams have the wider stack; Sun Sauce has the higher levels of the two it does carry.
Can I use it with a cream?
Yes. Some people use Sun Sauce on sunbed days and a cream outdoors, or a cream on dry areas and the jelly everywhere else.
Does it contain SPF?
No. Outdoors, apply Sun Sauce first, let it absorb, then wear a separate broad-spectrum sunscreen over the top.
When will my order arrive?
Orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Friday, are dispatched the same day. After 12pm your order goes out the next working day. We often dispatch on Saturdays too, but cannot promise it. UK delivery then takes 1 to 2 working days, and shipping is free on orders over £40.
